Koshi Province Youth Conference 2026 was officially inaugurated under the theme “Young People Coming Together to Strengthen Digital Civic Space.” The two-day summit (June 11–12) was inaugurated by Hon. Ramprasad Mahto, Minister for Social Development of Koshi Province, as the Chief Guest, in the presence of Hon. Shobha Palungga Chemjong, State Minister for Physical Infrastructure Development; Hon. Taranath Niroula, Vice-Chairperson of the Planning Commission; Mr. Kiran Thapa, Central Deputy General Secretary of the NGO Federation of Nepal; and Ms. Susmita Yadav, General Secretary of Youth Initiative. Bringing together youth social activists, policymakers, stakeholders, and participants from all 14 districts of Koshi Province, the summit aims to empower young people through digital literacy, civic engagement, leadership development, innovation, and the strengthening digital civic space. Organized in collaboration with the NGO Federation of Nepaland Youth Initiative the summit will conclude with the release of the Koshi Declaration 2026.
